    Artists Lantern Building - Thatcher Brook Primary School

    Saturday, November 2nd, 10:00-4:00 and Sunday, November 3rd: 10:00 - 4:00  This is a workshop for building a larger scale lantern on theme.  REinventions! What will you REmake? Something REmarkable!

    Saturday, November 2nd

    10:00-4:00 PM - Build a large scale lantern using willow, tape, and ingenuity.

    Sunday, November 3rd

    10:00-4:00 PM Continue working on lantern design, inclusive of how to carry it, lighting options, and papering.

    The workshop is free to attend, but donations are always helpful and won't be refused!

    Preregistration is required.

    Community Lantern Building Workshops - Thatcher Brook Primary School

    Sunday, November 10th

    10:00-12:00 - Session 1         1:00-3:00 - Session 2

    Work with artists Mame McKee, Sarah-Lee Terrat, and MK Monley to build a simple lantern to carry in the 10th annual River of Light Lantern Parade on Saturday, December 7th, 5:00pm in downtown Waterbury.

    – Workshops are free to attend

    – All tools and materials will be provided

    – Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult

    – There will be a limit of 25 participants for each session

    – Donations will be welcome
